Data is integral to nearly everything that we do at AbleTo, and as a result the analytics team plays a key role at our company. You should understand the causal inference framework and methodology and be able to apply it for your analysis. You should be excited to work with data, have the curiosity to dive deeply into issues, and feel empowered to make a meaningful impact at a mission-driven company. You will be a critical business partner to operational leaders at AbleTo, helping them to analyze the impact of AbleTo programs and provide insights on the populations that engage with AbleTo. Ideal candidates will provide guidance on designing studies, statistical methods, analyses, interpretation, and reporting study outcomes. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Advanced Analytics.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop analytic plan and conduct analyses as needed including relevant statistical analysis as required

Develop and communicate a summary of findings and results to relevant business leaders or stakeholder

Performs varied data analyses which may include:

Causal Inference Methods
-
Multivariate Statistical Analysis and Modeling
-
ROI and Opportunity Analysis models
-
Utilization and cost patterns of programs participants and non-participants for different products
-
Support validation of predictive models
-
Root cause analysis
-
Design and create analysis datasets for the purpose of conducting analyses and ROI studies
-
Perform quality checks on analysis datasets, tables, listings, figures
-
Design presentation decks to communicate study findings
-
Collaborate internally and externally to coordinate cross-functional analytics projects

Required Qualifications:

2+ years data analysis in health care experience applying causal inference methodologies

Experience and/or coursework in statistical analysis and research methods

Fluent in SQL and R/Python

Proven excellent oral and written communications skills

Proven solid analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with medical and/or pharmacy claims data

Applied statistical skills including regression modeling, longitudinal analysis (including mixed models), data mining, and multiple testing strategies

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
