Senior Software Engineer (Billing and Accounting) Systems & Software – Remote A division of Harris; Systems & Software, an industry leader in the Utility CIS space, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, to focus on business application development. You’ll get to design new features, maintain a best-in-breed software package, and craft quotes that will help drive our customers and the overall utility space forward. We are especially looking for engineers with experience with billing and accounting applications, and with direct experience in the utility sector. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members Assist Professional Services, R&D and Support Departments with design reviews and escalated issues Work with QA, promote best practices to ensure a high level of quality within the team Manage code reviews and closely participate in providing feedback on others’ designs/code Identify and mitigate issues and risks that could negatively impact project timelines Employ accounting best practices in designing billing and reporting applications Support utilities in financial auditing What are we looking for?
