The Principal Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is responsible for supporting projects and initiatives which will include, application development, business process development and improvement, application support, systems administration, business intelligence, customer adoption support, and others. In addition to coordination and oversight of technical tasks during the execution phase of the project, the Principal Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for gathering and documenting customer requirements by interviewing and understanding customer needs. Additionally, this will be a position of responsibility where you will act in a lead role for specific projects and will exercise some control over the work product of others for those projects during the life of the project. The required minimum qualifications and/or education (if substituting for the proven experience, knowledge, and skills), are as follows: Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience as a business analyst in progressively complex assignments managing the requirements for software application development, service delivery, or related experience. Demonstrated understanding of application design, development, testing, integration and support. Ability to work with peer organizations to translate IT processes and tool strategies to support the day-to-day work efforts of the individual departments, driving towards greater efficiencies and higher quality deliverables. Proven ability to operate, deliver, and succeed with a geographically dispersed customer base and technical partners. Proven aptitude for time and task management.
