- Demonstrate hands-on development skills by successfully solving complex problems and serving as a role model for the engineering team, consistently producing well-tested, efficient, and well-architected code.
- Guide the technical direction of front-end development by making informed decisions on the selection of technologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Mentor and support engineers by offering technical advice and conducting code reviews.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Enhance web application performance and usability, ensuring optimum speed and scalability.
- Recognize and address technical debt and architectural weaknesses within the front-end codebase.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the organization’s overall technical strategy.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in front-end development with expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with React, TypeScript, web standards, browser compatibility, and responsive design principles
- Experience with frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel) and package managers (npm)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience leading a team of front-end engineers and driving technical initiatives
- Proficiency with Git and version control systems
- Additional experience in backend technologies (REST, GraphQL) is a plus
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud platforms
