Your tasks
- You will knit customized IT solutions for our microservices in the Java EE environment competently and creatively and actively contribute to the entire development process: from analysis and conception to the design of distributed IT architectures to implementation, testing and documentation.
- During (further) development, you will carefully integrate our applications into existing structures on a national and international level, expand our deployment pipeline and monitor software quality and compliance with guidelines using automated tests.
- You map communication processes in our databases, are proficient in Denodo and Oracle SQL and are also happy to provide your team colleagues with expert support in service management.
- Together with your team, you check our processes and IT solutions for suitability at every step, find opportunities for optimization and test new features, products and technologies for feasibility and best fit.
- And of course, you also excel in cross-team projects and tasks with clear and effective communication, bringing other squads, architects and other stakeholders from the ING Group on board.
Your profile
- Completed studies with a focus on (business) informatics or comparable training (e.g. IT specialist) or qualification
- Experience in software development (frontend and/or backend) and the principles of software design, especially in the area of microservices / SCS
- Practice with CI/CD, REST and clean code
- Tech stack: Java EE, Spring (Boot), Hibernate, Apache Kafka, ELK, Azure DevOps, Red Hat OpenShift (Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, especially in the area of DevOps, with basic administrator skills, e.g. for JBoss and Docker
- Familiar with agile software development and complex projects as well as agile, international and distributed project teams
- Good abstraction and analysis skills, solution-oriented, structured way of working
- Communication skills, willingness to learn and develop, combined with openness to technology and interest in research work
- Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
