In information security management at the IT department, we take care of the protection of all digital information of the City of Munich. As a central unit, we operate across the city in the 15 departments and 6 in-house companies of the city administration. We focus on the security of over 30,000 IT users as well as the protection of our IT infrastructures and services. For a secure digital Munich.

You have

  • a successfully completed university degree at Master’s level in the field of computer science, business informatics, IT security or comparable majors or
  • a successfully completed university degree with many years (at least three years) of professional experience in IT security management

In particular, you have

  • Specialist knowledge: Knowledge of IT security standards and norms and their implementation (e.g. the ISO/IEC 27000 series or the BSI standards), experience with regard to IT security processes and their integration in IT service management, experience with current IT security technologies or IT security concepts and their areas of application
  • Result and goal orientation, in particular analytical thinking and a sense of responsibility
  • Communication skills

Of advantage are

Certifications in the IT security field, such as CISSP or CISM, are an advantage.
