Your new role:
Conduct stakeholder interviews to learn about business goals and determine research questions. Create research plans and perform user research via techniques such as participatory workshops, user interviews, card sorts, surveys, and contextual observations. Summarise observations and findings, then present and defend research findings in meetings with internal teams and customers. Collaborate closely with UX designers and developers to create and deliver apps for the desktop and the web. Based on user research findings, create site maps, wireframes, prototypes, graphic comps, and design specifications. Plan and carry out usability tests to assess existing application designs. Support organisational design transformation initiatives with frequent consultations and heuristic evaluations.
What you’ll need to succeed
Degree in IT or relevant field 2-3+ years’ experience as a UX Designer, and in research Experience of designing desktop, web or mobile applications Confident English language skills Skilled at working with cross-disciplinary teams Strengths in listening, observation and attention to detail
