Whether it’s the central emergency call system, the Online Access Act (OZG) or the defence against cyber attacks – as the central IT service provider, the State Office for Data and Information (LDI) is increasingly in demand when it comes to digitalization in Rhineland-Palatinate. We work closely with ministries and authorities, such as the judiciary, police and financial administration.

Project manager
in the area of collaboration solutions

THESE TASKS AWAIT YOU
- As a project manager, you will have technical project responsibility for collaboration solutions and coordinate and manage the cooperation of all parties involved.
- You create concepts and implement collaboration solutions.
- You train and advise platform users and create corresponding documentation and training videos
- You support users with technical questions.
- You are the point of contact for service providers and internal LDI departments for the maintenance, upkeep and further development of the platform
WHAT SETS YOU APART
- You have completed an IT university degree (e.g. Bachelor’s degree) or completed vocational training in an IT profession or have acquired the relevant knowledge and skills as part of the advertised job.
- You have sound knowledge and relevant professional experience in the field of IT, including in the following areas
- Internet/ Intranet/ Networks
- Specialist application support, customizing, configuration
- Creation of workflows (workflow development)
- Experience in project management, conceptual work or in the management of IT projects is desirable.
If the requirements under collective bargaining law are met, it is possible to group employees up to pay group 11 of the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L).

- You impress with your commitment, resilience, reliability, organizational skills and ability to assert yourself.
- We are looking for colleagues who work systematically and independently, think in an interdisciplinary way and are enthusiastic about contributing to the existing team.
- You have the verbal and written communication skills in German that meet the requirements of the position.
- You have the willingness and ability to continue your education and to explore new topics independently.
- You are willing to work overtime and to participate in a 24/7 on-call service remotely and/or on site and to undertake business trips.
- You can only be hired if a security check can be carried out and there are no security-related concerns.
