Job Description
Our team is responsible for the mobile communications business in the customer segments PK, GK and Wholesale for both prepay and postpay contracts. The individual value streams in our two ARTs are provided by classic IT applications, but increasingly also by modern, DevOps-based, cloud services.
Our application portfolio provides cross-segment inventory management and support for the service centers for PK and GK. And also provides the important backend components for the Product Catalogue, Product Order Management and Service Order Management.
Our agile teams work successfully according to Scrum.
Responsibilities:
- Database Management: Manage and maintain the app’s database,
- Process Supervision: Oversee daily processes (e.g., billing, provider transfers, contract modifications), ensuring smooth operation by quickly and effectively resolving any issues.
- Service Request Handling: Handle internal customer service requests, through SQL commands manually or automatically.
- Tool Utilization: Use tools and automation solutions to minimize errors during work performed in a live environment.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of database processes, system updates, and incidents.
- Security Tasks: Ensure data security and manage compliance with data protection regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience in database administration
- Strong SQL skills and experience in database management
- Basic understanding of Linux systems
- Basic knowledge of Shell scripting
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, including quick and effective issue resolution
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including documentation
- High level of precision and attention to detail for work performed in a live environment
