The Opportunity

The Record to Report Department , often abbreviated as R2R department provides financial services for more than 130 affiliates in the EMEA region. Our main areas covered are: General Ledger Accounting, Management Accounting, Treasury and Accounts Receivable. The department is constantly expanding since our main goal is to perform end-to-end accounting activities in the near future. 

As a Finance and Accounting Team Lead you will coordinate complete, stringent and timely finance and accounting tasks the department’s scope covers and proactively seek opportunities to allow more effective cooperation between teams / team members regardless of country / functional assignments.

In this role, you will focus on:

  • Leading people management activities including goal setting, recruitment, and performance evaluation

  • Ensuring the service quality in the responsible area

  • Proactively and constructively managing change initiatives

  • Fostering relationships with stakeholders in the respective business area

  • Providing and organizing assistance to other teams or team members facing workload or expertise challenges

  • Fostering a collaborative team environment where everyone thrives

Who you are

We are looking for someone who is self motivated, really passionate about his or her job and understands that providing a high-quality service is crucial for the organization. As an ideal team member you are open-minded, dedicated to make a difference and open to constant development. Furthermore, you have:

  • University degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting related discipline

  • ACCA or other accounting professional qualifications will be an added advantage

  • 5+ years of working experience in related field

  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software preferably SAP and MS office tools

  • Strong communication skills, expressing ideas and expectations in a clear and concise manner

  • Ability to work comfortably in a dynamic, changing and growing environment

  • Proficiency in English
