This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw, Poland, and you will join our Cloud Center of Excellence. The program oversees our BEC Azure Cloud, which is developed in close collaboration with our external vendor.
As a senior cloud engineer, you will be a part of securing a stable cloud platform, guiding and advising in onboarding new applications and take part in cloud adoption in BEC.
At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to 8 days per month.
Primary task and responsibilities include:
- Facilitate the adoption and maintenance of Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Enterprise Scale Landing Zones in the organization.
- On a daily basis you will be involved in improving our platform and compliance, engage in dialogues with potential applications to move into cloud and preparing work for upcoming quarter.
- You will be working with the whole team (cloud specialists, team architects, compliance lead) as well as other stakeholders across BEC and our external vendor.
- You should expect to travel to Denmark 1-3 times per year.
- As we are working in an agile setup, you will be a part of our daily meetings, planning and refinement.
To succeed you will have:
- A professional background within cloud engineering and have 4 or more years hands-on experience with building and migrating services to Azure (enterprise scale)
- A broad knowledge of Azure cloud
