Providence Health Plan is calling a Senior Manager Data Analytics who will:
- Engage in projects that span across the organization at a c-level
- Serve as main point of contact to provide data insight that support shaping the organizational vision
- Provide feedback on strategic ventures
- Lead an analytics team
- Set priorities for the analytics team
- Present advanced analytic findings across the organization
- Engage with business partners and coach them as necessary to identify and shape central business questions that need answered by data analysts
- Lead organization-wide initiatives and projects that help form key business decisions
- Establishe reports that are relied upon by stakeholders
- Interpret data, draw conclusions from reports and analyses and communicate actionable messages to key stakeholders throughout the organization
- Utilize project management skills and advanced analytical / reporting skills to design and review evaluation plans
- Coordinate data collection across groups
- Guide and develop analysts for reporting support
- Lead team meetings
- Mentor junior staff
- Maintain an understanding of the changing health care quality reporting expectations and the impact of such changes on the organization
- Remain current on analytic techniques and methodologies, data sources, data available within the organization and other public and proprietary sources
- Build and maintain relationships with other leaders across the organization including HCS, IS, Finance, Operations and outside the organization (PSJH, government and quasi government agencies)

- This position is affiliated with Providence Health Plan and will be tied to a location and compensation range in Beaverton, Oregon

Required qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, Computer Science, Biological Science, Mathematics, or another related field of study -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
- 7+ years of healthcare experience
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience working in analytical roles with multiple data systems, reporting tools and programming
- 2+ years of project management experience gathering analysis and documentation, preferably in a data related field
- 2+ years of experience managing analysts who work independently on tasks and projects
- 2+ years of experience preparing and presenting analytical findings and communicating in writing and verbally complex concepts
- 1+ years of experience leading within a leadership role
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Master’s Degree in Public Health, Statistics, Health Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another related field of study
- FSA or ASA Actuarial Licensure

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
