Primary Responsibilities: Participate in requirements gathering sessions with business users and Optum team members to understand business need and analyze requirements Able to juggle multiple tasks and work with the lead to prioritize work to ensure customer expectations are met Work independently with little to no supervision by seeking guidance on work priority and dedication to client success Collaborate with other team members to understand reporting needs and be a self-starter to accomplish objectives Review and provide feedback on reporting requirements, either created internally or externally, for feasibility, gaps in requirements, and overall business value Perform data analysis using SQL and validate business requirements Document test cases based on requirements and perform functional testing Gain proficiency in modifying and developing new SAP Business Objects reports Be a team player and work under supervision of senior analysts as needed to meet project objectives You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in developing analytics and information technology solutions for Medicaid or a Medicaid managed care organization (MCO) 5+ years of experience developing reporting and analytics solutions in a data warehousing environment Proven solid analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy Proven solid knowledge of SQL queries and expertise with data models and datamarts Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall SDLC Demonstrated knowledge of statistics and experience with creating visualizations and dashboards using reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI and others Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience specific to reporting and analytics for Long Term Services and Supports programs (LTSS) Familiarity with MassHealth Home and/or Community Based Program Regulations and Guidelines Experience with building self-serve analytics capabilities for Business users Practical experience in statistical analysis through the use of statistical packages, including SPSS, and SAS *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
