Fullstack Developer

We are looking for a skilled Fullstack Developer to join our dynamic squad. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing an advantageous user experience on several existing applications and services – all within the cloud – that are used throughout the entire organization. You will play a critical role in accelerating the development of our services.
Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Maintain and develop user-friendly applications and services used across the organization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, architects, and product owners to achieve project goals.
- Agile Methodologies: Apply agile practices such as Scrum, Kanban, and XP to manage and deliver high-quality work.
- Quality Focus: Prioritize quality over quantity in all development tasks.
- Technical Debt Management: Help the business move quickly while identifying and managing technical debt.
- Security and Compliance: Build solutions with today’s security needs in mind and maintain GDPR knowledge.
- Cloud Integration: Develop and manage applications in the cloud, using AWS services like Cloudformation, ECS, SNS, SQS, S3, Lambda, and Cloudwatch.
Must-Have Skills:
- Modern Java: Proficiency in Java (v11 or later) and its ecosystem, particularly Spring Boot.
- Web Technologies: Strong understanding of modern web technologies such as REST, and JSON.
- SQL Knowledge: Comfortable working with SQL.
- Agile Practices: Experienced with agile methodologies and familiar with the Atlassian stack.
- Front-End Development: Competent in front-end work, including React.js, JavaScript, and test automation.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Additional Frameworks: Experience with MongoDB, Spring framework / Quarkus, Thymeleaf, and/or Python.
- AWS Experience: Prior experience with AWS services, including Cloudformation, ECS, SNS, SQS, S3, Lambda, and Cloudwatch.
- GDPR Knowledge: Understanding of GDPR requirements and implications.
- Advanced Java: Knowledge of Java v19+ is highly desirable.
- Marketing Acumen: Understanding of marketing concepts and strategies.
