We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Strategy & Analytics to join our leadership team. This pivotal role will be instrumental in shaping our strategic direction, optimizing business performance, and building a robust data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytics, business strategy, and finance, with a proven track record of driving business growth through data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities
We believe that the foundation of strategic, scalable business decisions is good analytics. Weve made significant progress in the robustness of our analytics over the last year but need someone to drive our analytics infrastructure for the next phase of growth. To do this effectively, youll need to focus on the following key areas:
Analytics & Data Infrastructure:
Design, build out, and manage our data infrastructure to support real-time analytics and reporting.
Develop and maintain dashboards that provide actionable insights to various departments.
Utilize advanced analytics to optimize operations, marketing, and customer experience.
Maintain and drive forward our medium to long term analytics roadmap.
Build + maintain internal analytics ticketing system to be able to understand and respond quickly to team requests.
Oversee external finance and accounting teams, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Manage the internal accounting team and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Assist with Monthly Business Reviews and other reporting to senior management and Board.
Performance Measurement:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure business performance.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide detailed analysis to senior management.
Implement data-driven strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the CEO and leadership team.
Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.
Requirements
Were looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
7+ years of experience in analytics, business strategy, consulting, finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in a senior strategic role within a high-growth company, preferably in the tech, consumer or service industry.
Experience in building and managing data infrastructure and analytics platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data analytics software (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
Excellent financial acumen and experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
We are based in the San Francisco Bay Area, however this role can be done remotely anywhere in the US. Travel to team offsites every 4-6 weeks will be required.
