Senior Decision Support Analyst – REMOTE at Highmark Health in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Company : Highmark Inc. Job Description : JOB SUMMARY This job is a part of the Financial Opportunity Analytics team within Highmark Wholecare. The Financial Opportunity Analytics team provides analytic support to Highmark’s C2V (Creating Customer Value) program and does additional ad-hoc research and analytics for high visibility and impact projects. The incumbent will be expected to work closely with all of Highmark’s Medicaid segment business areas (Clinical, Pharmacy, etc) and the enterprise C2V team to provide analytic support to Highmark’s C2V program. The incumbent will provide analysis to support the implementation of new cost-savings initiatives. Responsibilities include: preparing large datasets for potential new vendors; review and validation of vendor financial opportunity analyses; the design, creation and socialization of analyses for internally-developed initiatives; design, creation and socialization of models to monitor the on-going performance of recently implemented projects; participate in and lead meetings with various stakeholders of the C2V program at all levels of the organization; cultivate a pipeline of new ideas to aid in the financial health of Highmark. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES + Develop and foster internal relationships across the corporation. Provide analytic and consultative support to a broad spectrum of internal customer areas and external business partners. + Mentor colleagues with less experience on both the technical and business aspects of project and consultative work. + Determine how decision support systems will provide information required to make effective business decisions, translate requirements into applications that employ appropriate decision support and reporting tools. Use broad experience and technical knowledge to propose solutions to complex business problems. Take the lead in driving the implementation of the recommended solutions. + Take the lead in defining issues and ideas to be studied as well as the approach (methodological and technical) to be used in addressing studies and projects.
