Job Description
The person in this role is responsible for contributing to projects within the Allegis Group EMEA Business Intelligence team. Collaborates with analysts and engineers to design and create quality systems. Contribute to all phases of the software development life cycle including analysis, design, coding, testing and documentation. Interfaces between IS developers and Analysts to ensure that systems designs meet the needs of end users. Understands and identifies issues, assesses root causes and proposes solutions to deficiencies. Maintains relationships with Analysts to support current products and future improvements. Working within planned and agreed time scales to deliver all tasks and problems within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
•Building operational ETL data pipelines across several sources
•Constructing data models with a focus on Snowflake
•Assisting team with creation of data visualisations
Qualifications
- Comfortable working with ETL Pipelines (SSIS, Matillion) (essential)
- Advanced Transact SQL (essential)
- Snowflake (essential)
- Data Modelling/Warehousing (experience with MDX desirable)
- Experience using Power BI and/or Tableau
