Description The Entry-Level Temporary Data Analyst position will assist in completing projects related to health insurance, long-term care insurance, and related actuarial modeling for the Minneapolis Health and Life practice using data processing and actuarial modeling software to support any of our clients’ needs. This role offers the opportunity to join our team on a temporary basis. This position requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week for approximately 6 months. The duration of the position has the potential for extension based on performance and business needs. What You Will Do In this role, you will Prepare long-term care rate increase filings, Problem-solve using spreadsheets, databases, and other resources to clean, synthesize, and/or analyze data and information, Communicate results to peers and project leaders, Review the work of your peers, Draft written reports and prepare other external/internal correspondence, Prepare and document project files, and Assist with research and business development projects. What We Are Looking For Professional Qualifications College graduate in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field, Minimum 3.0 GPA upon graduation but preference to candidates with a 3.5 or higher, Working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
