POSITION SUMMARY Develops, administers, and maintains Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications and related databases by evaluating business needs, analyzing requirements and developing, integrating, and/or purchasing software for ERP systems. Researches, recommends and implements ERP technologies as appropriate to ensure that Hoosier’s business needs are met. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Analyzes enterprise data needs and develops solutions which interface with existing applications for ERP systems. Proactively consults with users and seeks technology solutions to business problems. Designs systems and programs and coordinates the review of specifications and the development of user manuals. Coordinates all aspects of implementation and training to support new ERP programs and systems. Documents ERP software solutions for user educational purposes. Design and develop customizations, reports, and integrations within the ERP system to meet business needs. Provide training, technical support, and troubleshooting for ERP-related issues, collaborating with end-users and IT teams. Stay current on ERP system updates, patches, and industry best practices to ensure optimal system performance. Recommends improved operational procedures to maximize systems efficiency. Stays abreast of state-of-the-art development tools and architectures. Document and maintain technical specifications, configurations, and system documentation. Performs other duties as assigned.
