This role is a part of the Cyber Security Core Cloud Engineering team [Enterprise Cyber Securitys Platform Engineering Team] and reports to the Platform Security Engineering Manager. You will be responsible for security technology that supports the entirety of NBCUs enterprise. You’ll actively lead in identifying key processes around the sustainability and availability of our security products, working to develop proactive approaches for support, deployment, and optimizations of security toolsets, and be regarded as an SME.
Responsibilities:
Developing cloud-based applications, micro services, APIs, and interfaces in a public multi-cloud environment.
Leverage and improvetooling for application security, configuration management, containerization, and secrets management with a DevSecOps agile approach.
Work closely with service leads and vendors to address service interruptions, quality deficiencies, or other performance issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on operations.
Assist junior engineers in planning, execution, and delivery, providing technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
Provide documentation and resources to enableother technologists toleverage newtooling andsoftware solutions.
