Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Global IT Security Operations Manager to lead our global security initiatives, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our information assets. This pivotal role involves managing our security infrastructure, overseeing incident response activities, and ensuring compliance with international security standards across all global regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies and policies to safeguard Bio-Rads IT infrastructure and data across all global regions.
Lead the security operations center (SOC) and manage a team of security professionals in monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to security threats.
Assist Architecture and Engineering teams in Azure AD setup and migration of resources from on-prem to Azure AD
Implement AWS CIS controls and evaluate areas to improve the cloud security posture
Oversee the administration of security tools and technologies, ensuring proactive measures are in place to prevent security breaches.
Coordinate incident response plans and activities, including forensic analysis and mitigations to minimize impact during security incidents.
Ensure compliance with global security regulations and standards, including GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure the effectiveness of existing security measures.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external security agencies to enhance security protocols and awareness.
Manage security projects from conception to implementation, ensuring they align with strategic business objectives and are delivered on time.
Provide training and mentoring to team members and other departments on security best practices and threat awareness.
Stay abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve the security posture of the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or masters degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
Professional security management certification, such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a security management role, preferably in a global IT environment.
Proven expertise in managing a security operations center and leading a team of security professionals.
Strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security vulnerability assessments.
Experience with incident response and digital forensics.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in implementing and managing security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and information security management frameworks.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle emergencies with effectiveness and leadership.
