You might be the perfect match if you are/have:
- MS or BS in Computer science or equivalent;
- 5+ years experience with SIP/RTP and other real-time communication protocols;
- Experience with open-source VoIP stacks in a Linux environment (preferably Asterisk);
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex SIP-related issues in a carrier-grade network using tools like tcpdump and Wireshark;
- Experience with highly scalable SIP proxies (Kamailio, OpenSIPS) is a plus;
- Scripting experience with Bash and Python;
- Embedded Linux programming in C;
- Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems;
- Solid understanding of OSI model, firewalls, IP routing, IP switching, VLANS, and QOS/COS;
- Hands-on experience with dial plans, IVRs, SIP, IAX, RTP, DIDs, codecs and other protocols;
- Solid understanding of traditional telephony, PRIs, BRIs, FXO/FXS, circuit-switching, POTS, PSTN, MTSO.
We are looking for a VoIP Software Enginee r, who will develop and maintain code to control the Residential Gateways’s hardware and software functions . The products powered by developed solutions comprise multiple technology domains such as Linux Kernel, Network (WiFi, DSL, VoIP, etc.), Containerization, Internet of Things, and Cloud Management. You will participate in the full development process: function specification, design, coding, test automation, and documentation. The work is performed closely with other parts of the organization, such as product management and customer support which leads to a good understanding and an overall impression of the full projects and products.
