The Central Data Processing of the Tax Administration is the IT service and competence center of the tax administration of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate and is located in Koblenz.
The tasks to be performed include in particular
- Development of software in the back and front end as well as interfaces and automation solutions with C# and .NET
- Responsibility for all life cycles of the software components (design, implementation, documentation, refactoring, maintenance)
What you should bring with you:
- Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or comparable degree; alternatively, successfully completed training as an IT specialist in application development
- Several years of practical experience in professional software development in a team, ideally with the Microsoft technology stack (C#, .NET, Visual Studio)
- Experience in dealing with web services (REST)
- Confident handling of database technologies
- Sound knowledge of the use of Git for version control
- Good knowledge of written and spoken German (language level: competent use of language C1/C2)
Desirable:
- Experience in working with DevExpress components
- Knowledge of .NET Core, WPF, ASP.NET, Blazor and microservices

This is a permanent, open-ended position. Extensive training in the topics and tasks will be provided by experienced colleagues.
The recruitment takes place in an employment relationship if the collective bargaining and personal requirements are met, a classification up to pay group E 10 TV-L can be made. If you are suitably qualified and meet the requirements under civil service law, it may be possible to become a civil servant at a later date.
Applications are also open to civil servants (m/f/d) in the 3rd entry level of the “Administration and Finance” and “Science and Technology” departments up to grade A 12 LBesG.
