We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Enterprise Architect to join our internal IT organization. In this critical role, you will partner closely with the CIO to define and execute a comprehensive IT transformation plan, taking us from legacy technology to a state-of-the-art IT and Telco landscape within 3 years.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CIO to translate the local IT strategy into a detailed technical roadmap.
- Design a future-proof IT and Telco landscape encompassing infrastructure, application development, vendor management, and everything in between.
- Lead the technical direction for the IT organization, mentoring and guiding architects, engineers, and development teams.
- Champion the adoption of cutting-edge technologies (cloud computing, containerization, DevOps, agile methodologies) to ensure a smooth transition away from outdated systems.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities for IT infrastructure and services.
- Oversee the entire IT architecture, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the business and aligns with security & compliance best practices.
- Stay abreast of the latest IT trends and best practices, fostering innovation and future-proofing the IT landscape.
- Evaluate and select IT vendors based on their capabilities, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with the organization’s needs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive IT architecture documentation for future reference and knowledge transfer.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of the IT transformation initiatives and regularly monitor IT performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop a comprehensive change management plan to facilitate the adoption of new technologies and processes, effectively communicating with stakeholders throughout the transformation process.
Qualifications
- Several years of experience as an Senior Architect or a similar senior IT leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and executing IT transformation initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of modern IT architecture principles and methodologies.
- Experience with cloud computing, containerization, DevOps, and agile development methodologies (a plus).
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, application development, and vendor management.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans.
