The SaaS Solutions Architect/Engineer, representing the technology development team, will be a key pivotal member, working closely with the data services, data science, information technology, analytics & insights, sales and account management team, and the product development team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Sales and Client Engagement:
- Engage in discovery meetings in collaboration with the sales and account team to collect, analyze, clarify, and document business-to-technology requirements during the sales cycle.
- Engage with clients to understand their business objectives and technical requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on how our products, technology stack and services can address specific client challenges.
- Lead prospects through their product evaluation processes to remove technical barriers.
- Be the technical and solution expert facing customers.
Solution Design and Implementation:
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements and collaborate with the sales and account team and the data, technology and analytics team in designing, building, and managing technology solutions.
- Track and document every part of the customer’s implementation of the solution.
- Create high-quality, feasible proof of concepts for potential clients.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase proposed solutions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to scope, develop, and demonstrate moderate to sophisticated solutions.
Product Development:
- Collaborate with the data, technology, analytics, and product development teams and cross-functional partners to build new technology products/solutions and improve existing ones.
- Translate current and future product/technical features into value drivers.
- Design, architecture, and build a roadmap of end-to-end products and solutions as part of the collaborative strategy developed with the product development team.

Core Competencies & Experience:
- At least 5 years’ experience in a marketing technology product-based company
- At least 5 years’ experience architecting applications that integrate omnichannel marketing
- At least 3 years’ experience in solution engineering and client facing
- At least 3 years’ experience with machine learning and AI technologies
- Experience building and delivering demos & POCs for marketing technology products sales-cycles.
- Good understanding of open-source technologies like DBT, Airbyte, Jupyter, Mage, PostGre SQL.
- Experience working with Salesforce Enterprise Solutions, Red Point Interaction, Red Point Realtime, Red Point DM and Tableau.
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes, machine learning and AI technologies applied to sales and marketing, including next best action.
- Ability to learn about new technologies and understand their impact on the business offerings.

- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education plus experience will be considered.
