Location: Steward Health Care Posted Date: 5/31/2024 Job Type: Full Time Department: 1301.72318 IS Security The Enterprise Information Security (EIS) Intern will be responsible for assisting in risk identification, communications and other tasks. The intern will assist with handling and reviewing information security contracts and compliance issues, researching cybersecurity policy. Working closely with other Enterprise Information Security team members and Steward vendors, the intern will learn and assist in protecting Steward Health Care’s assets. This is a remote work position. Qualifications: Strong communication skills. General technical skills Legal experience/knowledge preferred Understanding and ability to learn the basis of operating systems, cloud computing, and forensic tools Teamwork/collaboration Analytical thinking Education/Relevant Experience Understanding of information security and privacy concepts and practices (HIPAA, PCI, PII, NIST, ITIL etc.) Understanding and ability to learn methods for incident identification/analysis, escalation procedures, and reduction of false positives.
