Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Release and Deployment Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in German and possess a background in IT release and deployment management. The Release and Deployment Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the deployment of software releases, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, processes, and standards.
- Monitor the lifecycle of systems closely to ensure timely patch management.
- Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to manage expectations and provide status updates
- Continuously improve release and deployment processes to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, and operations to ensure successful software deployments.
- Develop and maintain release and deployment plans, schedules, and checklists.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with release and deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the release and deployment process.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Fluency in German and English
- Proven experience as a Release and Deployment Manager or in a similar process role.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and release management processes.
- Experience with release management tools and practices.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
