Digital Communications Specialist at Healthy Gamer #vacancy #remote

We are looking for someone who can bring the Healthy Gamer mission to life across all digital touchpoints with the support of designers, copywriters and other specialists. This role reports to the Product Marketing Manager, and works closely with the Content, Community and Marketing teams to bring the best of Healthy Gamer to our digital channels, primarily focusing on social media and email. 

This is a contract role with the possibility of going full time for the right candidate.

A self-starter who thrives on memes. You know how to make heavy topics fun and approachable. You work well in remote environments – clear communication, dependable follow through, and meeting deadlines. You know how to balance quick action items like social media responses with more strategic initiatives like email automation. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Optimize communication funnels to engage, delight, and convert leads to our products, services, and community
  • Craft engaging, cross-channel user journeys, leveraging assets including but not limited to: landing pages, quizzes, white papers, interactive activities, etc
  • Effectively tailor and measure personalized content across various channels to enhance customer relationships throughout their journey
  • Create personalized messaging and experiences for users entering our funnel through various touchpoints 
  • Leverage our extensive video and content libraries to create compelling assets for email, social media, and other channels as needed
  • Post relevant and engaging content across all channels
  • Identify opportunities for capturing leads across all channels
  • Collaborate with community leads, content editors, designers, and other team members to ensure communications are aligned audience interests/expectations
  • Analyze user engagement and other relevant data points to optimize communications strategies
  • Manage workflows, segmentation, and user journeys for new and existing contacts
  • Implement workflows, campaigns, newsletters, and other email communications
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all channels, and that all assets follow channel specific best practices

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience working in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools / CRM systems for managing workflows, leads, and user segmentation preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify meaningful trends in data 
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail, grammar, and syntax
  • Proven experience in lead generation and lead magnet creation, with a portfolio showcasing successful campaigns
  • In-depth knowledge of various marketing channels, as well as best practices for engagement and conversion
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or other related field preferred
  • Interest in gaming or mental health is a big plus!
