Main responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the organization’s data platform strategy, roadmap, and architecture, including assessing emerging technologies and trends. Design and implement robust processes for data acquisition, integration, and quality checks during ingestion. Determine suitable storage technologies, implement scalable solutions, and optimize management strategies. Implement frameworks and pipelines for data transformation and analysis, supporting advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives. Define and enforce security measures, governance frameworks, and ensure compliance with regulations and privacy standards. Collaborate with teams, provide expertise, and contribute to building an effective Digital Transformation Department, including managing consultants and fostering innovation.
Required skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience in data platform management, including proven expertise as a Data Platform Architect. Proficiency in database design, data warehousing, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark). Familiarity with data governance, security, and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), ensuring compliance in data handling. Strong soft skills, including strategic thinking, adaptability to change, driving results, developing others, effective communication, networking, and problem-solving. Proven track record in developing data products, creating business value, deploying data products, and resource mobilization.
