Your responsibilities, Technical support in the operation of the system landscapes / digital platforms,, Service-Lifecycle-Management for the platforms and Use-Cases (tracking releases of dependencies and platform-infrastructure versions, updating platform components primarily docker-images and azure resources as well as updating software dependencies for use-Cases, coordinating tests before rollout with business-partners, planning and communicating rollouts (including new releases)),, Carrying out error analyses and optimizations in the context of troubleshooting, taking into account the established processes based on ITIL,, Maintenance of the underlying IT infrastructures in the various operating stages (development, (integration-)testing, production) in line with group requirements,, Further technical development of the existing platforms* and the processes required for professional operation,, Development, discussion and documentation of system architecture concepts,, Support with the automation of the entire life cycle of the infrastructure components, for example by adapting existing scripts or implementing new ones and carry our strategy to use and adopt gitops principles,, Carrying out tests, debugging and performance/costs tuning to ensure appropriate performance and reliability of the platforms and use-cases,, General advice and support to ensure stable and highly available 24/7 operation (working hours are 8am-4pm with additional on-call service), including direct phone based support for customers of use-cases in German language,, Collaboration in and coordination of platform projects such as: updating technical components, setting up and maintaining infrastructures for new platform instances and use-cases, migration of systems to new environments, cooperation with the providers used to implement changes, including participation in coordination meetings,, Configuration, maintenance and further development of existing tools for monitoring and alerting. Primarily based on CNCF-Landscaped-Projects like Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, Loki, OpenTelemetry,, Carrying existing system-architecture and actively consult in further development of the system-architecture for the mentioned platforms.
Minimum 3 years’ of experience with technical consulting and execution of implementation and administration tasks with regards to: Server and network technologies, Linux (redhat), Kubernetes, Azure,, Experience with the following is preferred:, synchronous system coupling (API-Platform named SEAL currently based on OpenAPI rest-services) (incl. Use-Cases),, asynchronous system coupling (IIOT-Platform named DIIP based on Kafka, Nifi, Minio) (incl. use-cases),, Application Developer Plattform (developer-tools based on Git(Bitbucket), CICD (Jenkins/AzureDevOPS) , Artefact-/Container-Repositories (AzureContainerRegistry, Harbor, Artifactory), Bug-/Project Management (Jira),, Developer Tools for machine-learning (based on AzureDEVOPS, AzureML, python),, Familiar with: Kubernetes (currently AKS), CNCF-Landscape-Projects for Monitoring and Alerting and IAAS-/PAAS-Service of Cloud Providers (currently Azure),, Available for an on-call duty – working hours are 8am-4pm with additional on-call service,, English and German language at minimum B2 level, both written and spoken.
