Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic part-time Backend Developer proficient in Node.js to extend and maintain our application’s core functionalities. This role involves improving existing features and building new APIs for seamless data integration and functionality enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform initial code review of the application to ensure compliance with design patterns and coding standards.
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services in Node.js.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Collaboration with mobile developer.
- Server administration.
Technical Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial experience in Node.js.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and server-side logic.
- Good understanding of server-side templating languages and server-side CSS preprocessors.
- Familiarity with SQL databases, particularly MySQL, and able to design and optimize queries.
- Experience with real-time communication platforms like Socket.io is highly desirable.
