Develops technical approaches to solutions based upon available designs; recommends new designs as needed. Develops designs, supporting procedures and other materials to achieve required service levels. Integrates component designs in response to customer requirements. Develops, maintains and communicates component inventories that identify targets for operational procedures. Executes operational maintenance in according with established procedures. Assesses component builds for completeness, correctness, and suitability to purpose. Migrates component implementations to updated designs. Resolves incidents in accordance with best practices and established procedures. Provides next-level support for systems and solutions. Works with vendor support to resolve issues. Assesses support incidents and initiates appropriate design changes, as needed. Identifies and recommends solutions for systemic production problems. Works in compliance with approved standards and best practices. Designs, develops, and implements monitoring systems and protocols to capture service level outcomes. Provides resources, time and cost estimates for provisioning, operation and technical support. Provides feedback on the provisional, operational and support effectiveness of designs and team methodologies. Identifies and defines processes, artifacts and methods for provisional, operational and support proficiency, growth and mentoring. Assesses activity and outputs for conformance with defined provisional, operational and support proficiency, growth and mentoring. Conducts targeted technology and methodology R & D.
