YOU will be involved in the following tasks:

 

  • Provide Requestor with submission support for Packaging Requests – Package Request Form (PRF) creation
    • Validate the requirements generated by the Requestor
    • Work with the Application Owner to resolve any issues identified with requirements
    • Obtain sign-off of the Packaging Request by Application Owners
  • Produce quality application packages following Application Packaging Standards using PSAppDeployToolkit to be deployed by Intune or MECM
  • Create and/or modify scripts & script wrappers, for application installs
  • Perform Integration Testing (IT) of Application Packages in Test Environment
  • Provide support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
    • Prepare the UAT environment
    • Schedule UAT with the Requestor
  • Assist with automated deployments of packaged software
  • Troubleshoot the packages in case of failure, provide third level support through Service NOW
  • Contribute to implementation, integration and transformation Projects as needed to provide packaging

What YOU will bring to the team:

 

  • Minimum of 5 Years of Working experience on Application Packaging
  • Windows Installer (MSI), unattended installs (EXE)
  • Specialist level skills in PSAppDeployToolkit,
  • Good knowledge on PowerShell
  • Good knowledge on Packaging tools (E.g.: Flexera AdminStudio/Orca/instead/etc.)
  • Good knowledge on using virtual test environments (Microsoft Hyper-V or Oracle VM VirtualBox)
  • Knowledge of Application Package distribution tools (Intune, MECM)
  • Good knowledge of the Windows registry, file and folder security, local/domain user security and general operating system
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex and escalated Application issues using tools such as Process Monitor, Process Explorer, Dependency Walker
  • Excellent Communication Skills (Written & Oral)
  • Experience in Application packaging and deployment
  • Communicate frequently in a global team (Status reports, stand up meetings, teams chat, etc.)
