Job Title: AWS Architect
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of sophisticated data warehousing solutions using Snowflake. Be responsible for the migration of legacy systems to AWS cloud services, ensuring a seamless transition and minimal downtime. Develop and optimize PL/SQL procedures and functions to enhance database performance. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver scalable solutions. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior designers to improve the quality of design and code. Ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies when designing solutions. Keep tabs on new AWS services and Snowflake features to incorporate into future projects. Provide technical leadership in solve and resolving critical issues. Facilitate training sessions for the team on Snowflake, AWS, and PL/SQL standard processes. Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within cost.-Qualifications- Must have a solid foundation in Snowflakes architecture, data modeling, and efficiency tuning. Extensive experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda, is required. Proficient in writing and optimizing PL/SQL code for high-volume data environments. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under stress. Good communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead project teams effectively. A proactive approach to staying updated with the newest technologies and trends in cloud computing and data warehousing.
Required Qualifications:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Manager with a good background in Snowflake, AWS, and PL/SQL. The ideal candidate will have between 12 to 16 years of experience, leading projects that use these technologies to drive innovation and efficiency in our data management and cloud computing initiatives. Experience: 12 to16 yrs. Required Skills: Technical Skills: PL/SQL, Snowflake, AWS Domain Skills, Domain Technology. Cloud Data Integration Migration.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $113,000.00 – $161,500.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
