Our team seeks a Cybersecurity Training Coordinator, which is a 50% telecommuting position role with onsite work in El Segundo, CA . Job Summary: The Cybersecurity Training Coordinator will support the Raytheon Training Coordination Manager in execution of Cybersecurity Professional development initiatives. This position will fall under the Raytheon Cybersecurity Governance & Business Execution Team organization and will report to the Cybersecurity Project Management Office & Training Lead. Although this role is strongly focused on the preparation, integration and monitoring of Raytheon cyber training initiatives, the successful candidate must have a background in cyber/network security and/or information technology. A day in the life of the Cybersecurity Training Coordinator may include identifying training needs, deficiencies, and lack of standardization within the organization, maintenance of updated curriculum database and training records, and attending and hosting onsite meetings as needed to support the training program. You will market available training to employees and provide necessary information about sessions, as well as soliciting feedback from cybersecurity staff and leadership to improve training program. You will also assist and advice the Training Coordination Manger with execution of managing, designing, developing, coordinating, and conducting all training programs. Responsibilities to Anticipate: Communicate training needs and map out development plans for teams and individuals through partnership with internal stakeholders and experts regarding training improvements Collaborate and assist conducting organization-wide training needs assessments and identify skills or knowledge gaps You will research, recommend and select appropriate training methods or activities (e.g. simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes) Schedule orientations and leads On-the-Job Training (OJT) program and host train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts Coordinate the logistics of a new hire’s first two weeks after hire then monitor and track all trainees through their first year of employment Provide reports from respective areas of responsibility to RAY Training Coordination Manager and leadership Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 5 years of relevant experience described in the bullet below Relevant experience comprised with any combination below: Cybersecurity, systems security or hardening Information Technology Experience with configuring and/or auditing operating systems Compliance-based auditing using the Risk Management Framework (RMF), DCSA Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and/or non-defense regulations such as FAA, Payment Card Industry (PCI), ISO 9001 Quality Management standards, HIPPA, or other government requirements Experience working with and/or supporting software engineering, test, or development and/or computer technologies (such as: databases, operating systems, computer network hardware, software programs, hardware troubleshooting or electronics) Work experience in a training / curriculum development role or environment Experience with compliance regulations such as NISPOM, DAAPM, DFARS, JAFAN, JSIG, or other Department of Defense or government documents/regulations The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
