Visit us at About The Position Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday Location: Remote The Data Engineer II plays a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure necessary for data storage, processing, and analysis. The Data Engineer II will create the ability to enable extraction of valuable insights and drive informed business decisions. They will work closely with data analysts and report writers. They are largely in charge of architecting solutions for data analysts that enable them to do their job. Essential Functions Designs, builds, and maintains scalable and reliable data processing systems. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop efficient data pipelines. Assembles large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements. Assists in implementing data models and databases to support data storage and manipulation. Ensures data quality and integrity by supporting robust data validation and cleansing processes. Works with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems. Stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in data engineering technologies and best practices. Assists in keeping designated work areas clean, orderly, and free of clutter. Adapts quickly to frequent process changes and improvements. Is reliable, engaged, and provides feedback as to improve processes and policies. Requirements College level problem solving and analytical skills. 6+ years of experience in a Data Engineer or comparable role. Experience in data engineering and database design. Working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases. Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL tools. Pay Range and Compensation Package Pay ranges may vary depending on location. The general pay range for this position is $46.00 – $52.00 per hour. Actual compensation depends on education, experience, and relevant skills.
