In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and infrastructure using latest technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support and contribute to the evolution of our data platform and capabilities. ** This individual can sit at any Collins domestic location or remote. ** What YOU will do: You will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to support data analytics and reporting needs. You will utilize Snowflake to manage data warehousing, including data modeling, schema design, and optimization. You will implement ETL processes using Matillion to integrate, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake. You will utilize Alteryx for data preparation, transformation, and workflow automation to streamline data processes. You will develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards in Tableau to provide actionable insights to stakeholders. You will write complex SQL queries for data retrieval, analysis, and reporting. Optimize queries for performance and efficiency. You will ensure data quality and integrity by developing and implementing data validation and cleansing procedures. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. You will troubleshoot and Debug: Investigate and resolve data issues, performance bottlenecks, and other technical challenges. You will create and maintain documentation for data processes, workflows, and architecture. Education & Experience: Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience. Qualifications you must have: Must be a US Citizen or a US Green card holder. 5+ years of experience in data engineering role, with proficiency in designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes. Experience working with large-scale datasets, complex data architectures, and unstructured data. Experience: Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a strong background in Snowflake, Matillion, Alteryx, and Tableau or equivalent technologies. SQL Proficiency: Strong SQL skills, including experience with complex queries, joins, and aggregations. Data Visualization: Experience developing dashboards and visualizations using Tableau. ETL Expertise: Strong understanding of ETL processes and best practices, with hands-on experience using Matillion. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Time Management: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
