Data Management Specialist | Remote | Contract
Walker Healthforce is seeking a Data Management Specialist or a healthcare client located remotely. This is a contract opportunity.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Perform unit and systems integration testing of data, including existing warehouses and Business Intelligence environments.
- Review current data flow processes and propose solutions to optimize applications and data management practices.
- Document and track user errors and experiences to inform future improvement endeavors.
- Build and maintain metadata in a research data management system.
- Construct metadata definitions and data fields.
- Program variable sequences, rules, and dependencies.
- Review clinical protocol design, system specifications, metadata definitions, and database infrastructure.
- Develop data transfer specifications and facilitate the creation of data transfer files.
- Monitor and resolve system errors.
- Write and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Working Instructions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (HIPAA, ICH, GCP, JCAHO, etc.).
- Actively participate in Research quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Proficiency in SQL
- Coding experience
- Familiarity with APIs
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of databases
- Experience with data governance and creating SOPs and working instructions for managing data
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with cloud-based environments (Google Cloud).
- Experience building dashboards and reports in Tableau or Power BI.
