An international airline company is looking for an aspiring Medior or Senior Data Scientist to further expand their current team in Budapest.You will be part of theOnTrack team, one of the first data teams created within the company. A young and ambitious team in the business platform FLIGHT. The team consists of Data Scientists, Data Engineers and BI Developers who work together according to the scaled agile way of working. Their goal is to utilize Machine Learning capabilities to the fullest, in order to develop an innovative flight time and mentoring management system.
Your new role
Talking to business stakeholders about requirements or to gather feedback on your work
Analyzing business challenges and coming up with a proposal to solve them
Building machine learning and/or optimization models and getting them into production
Optimizing and monitoring existing models
Doing ad hoc analysis on any issue the business might be facing
What you’ll need to succeed
Master’s degree in Data science, Econometrics, Business Analytics or similar studies
At least 3-5 years of experience in a Data Science role
Proficient in Python object-oriented coding (with Pandas and multiple machine learning packages), and SQL
Nice to have:
Experience with simulation
Knowledge of Docker, Google Cloud and/or other Cloud Providers is a big plus
Proactive and independent way of working
Data visualization skills
