100% REMOTE Contract Key Responsibilities: Client requires a Duck Creek Billing Technical Lead who demonstrates leadership abilities, is very knowledgeable in the P&C software industry, and can work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. In depth knowledge of Duck Creek architecture and content development is required. The role will be work from home, however travel is required and varies based on the assigned account requirements. This employee will oversee small to mid-size technical workstreams. A technical lead is expected to work in a team setting, working closely with the client, and providing guidance to less senior team members. A Technical lead will provide support to program architects in solution technical design and will keep the workstream moving from a technical aspect. Required Experience: Leading technical team for 8-10 developers across US/Canada/India Implementation of Key Billing components: Agency Bill, Direct Bill, Commissions in Duck Creek Billing (OnDemand 8.x) Supporting Technical/Solution Architects for architectural decisions for mid to large/complex projects Owning technical solutioning for simple to moderate enhancements and or client custom configurations Creates and reviews estimates for the project and guides estimation for small to mid-size proposals. Provides and Supports technology domain consultation and technical solution for proposals. Creates knowledge/certification artifacts and evaluation criteria. Mentors in building new areas of competency. Guides or provides technical training in relevant technology areas. Development and design tasks for this Billing Technical Lead role include: Duck Creek Manuscripts, inheritance modelling, environment configurations, XSLT transforms, SQL Database queries and procedures, JavaScript, .NET, C#, and more. 7 – 10 years of Duck Creek Billing configuration, integration and implementation approach and design experience. To include production support and new Implementations with on premise and OnDemand programs Experience with implementation of 3rd party integrations to DC Billing Experience working with Internal Collections Experience working within the pre-post event framework. Defect Triaging and resolution.
