Leveraging your extensive experience in Medicaid system implementations, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of the state’s technical infrastructure. Responsibilities : Technical Leadership : Provide strategic direction in the development and implementation of enterprise architecture for Medicaid systems. Ensure alignment with the state program’s business objectives and technical requirements Architecture Standards : Define and maintain architectural standards and guidelines. Provide oversight of the development of architectural frameworks that support multiple technical solutions within the Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) Security Compliance : Ensure that all architectural designs and implementations comply with technical and security standards specific to Medicaid, safeguarding the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data Medicaid System Expertise : Utilize your 5+ years of experience in Medicaid system implementations to inform architectural decisions and best practices. Provide expert guidance on Medicaid-specific architecture and technical requirements System Integration : Ensure seamless integration of various technical components within the state program’s technology system architecture. Facilitate effective data exchange and interoperability between different system modules System Security Plans (SSP) : Contribute to the creation and maintenance of comprehensive System Security Plans tailored to Medicaid systems, ensuring robust security measures and compliance with regulatory requirements Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) : Create and manage Plans of Action and Milestones to address security vulnerabilities and ensure continuous improvement in compliance efforts Technical Governance : Establish governance frameworks for technical roles and separation of duties within Medicaid systems to mitigate security risks and ensure accountability Technical Workflow Oversight : Oversee technical workflow activities to ensure the smooth and error-free operation of Medicaid platforms. Provide guidance on optimizing technical processes and workflows Data Management : Oversee data management activities, ensuring the successful conversion, migration, and integration of data within Medicaid systems Interface Specification : Ensure the development and maintenance of comprehensive interface specification documentation to facilitate accurate and efficient data exchange Network Architecture : Review and verify the network architecture to ensure it supports all hardware and software components securely and reliably Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Proven experience in technical leadership and enterprise architecture, with a focus on Medicaid system implementations (5+ years of Medicaid experience required) Strong knowledge of architectural standards and practices, especially in the Medicaid context In-depth understanding of Medicaid architecture and technical requirements, along with current knowledge of best practices Experience with System Security Plans (SSPs) and Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs) for Medicaid systems Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments Demonstrated expertise in ensuring the smooth operation of technical workflows and system integrations Experience in overseeing data management and ensuring successful data migration Track record of ensuring sound interface specification documentation for efficient data exchange Experience in reviewing and verifying network architectures to support secure and reliable infrastructure components S2Tech is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
