WI-REMOTE Worker Type: Regular Job Highlights: Experienced Epic Revenue Cycle certified analyst will join SSM’s IHT Growth Revenue Cycle team responsible for implementing Epic & Epic-related applications across the SSM footprint, which includes mergers & acquisitions, departments, clinics, construction, divestitures, offboarding and medical devices . The team has experience across various Epic revenue cycle applications such as HIM, Cadence, Prelude, HB/PB Billing and claims, Referrals and Grand Central applications. Candidate will work closely across all areas of our Integrated Health Technologies team as well as with Operations to understand the strategic business opportunity and take on the complexity of driving the technology solution discovery, business case creation, key team member engagement, timeline and risk identification, and expected value. A health care background and experience with complex IT projects is a must. You would bring your demonstrated ability to develop relationships, create process, drive strategic priorities and offer new and innovative solutions to solving important problems. Brings best practices to the business and works closely with internal stakeholders to define the technical systems and enhancements needed to deliver business results. Performs detailed analysis of business needs, recommends potential functional, technical and/or administrative strategies and approaches for solutions with internal/external clients. Job Responsibilities and Requirements: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Researches business needs and translates into standard workflow and build requirements necessary for configuration and business process changes. Provides deep technical knowledge, analyzing Epic vendor software updates and the impact to the business for Epic applications in area of expertise. Codes complex functions including building application tables and reports for Epic applications in analyst’s area of expertise. May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and / or complexity. Leads the team in testing script development and updates to match business requirements. Troubleshoots and resolves complex application issues and partners with technology service center to ensure high first call response rate for Epic applications in area of expertise. Provides routine maintenance of Epic applications and systems using existing procedures. Follows and stays current with internal processes, policies and procedures. Develops, analyzes, prioritizes, and organizes technical requirement specifications using data, diagrams, and flowcharts to inform decision making. Solves unique problems with broad impact on the business and leads others to solve complex problems; uses conceptual and innovative thinking for developing solutions. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent years of experience and education EXPERIENCE Five years’ experience, specifically with Epic functionality, design, configuration, and technical environment concepts/functions. Experience in Epic builds required. CERTIFICATION Epic certified in one or more modules PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements. Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors. Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc. Frequent keyboard use/data entry. Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping. Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs. Rare climbing.
