About the role

We are expanding our copy team to support our portfolio of companies. 

We’re looking to hire a full-time copywriter who will be responsible for representing Danny Iny’s (and Mirasee’s) voice to our audience, as well as the voices of the other CEOs in our portfolio. This includes:

  • Email marketing copy promoting our offers and JV offers
  • Preparing JV swipes for our affiliate partners
  • Writing sales and landing page copy
  • Writing video scripts for our sales page videos

For that right candidate, the work will be fun, the learning will be intense, and the compensation will be competitive.

What will you be working on?

Our copyteam manager will assign you a project and you will receive the project memo that has been created by our Director of Growth. Within a week after receiving the project memo, you will have a project team kick off call with the Director of Growth, the CEO of the company, the project manager and perhaps another writer you will be collaborating with (depending on the size of the project). 

Of course, you will have prepared youself in advance of that call by reading the memo and getting to grips with the overal vision and goal of the project. 

During the kick off call you are able to ask all the questions you need to clarify before you jump into action. 

Once you start the project, you will focus on the timelines given to you by the project manager. You will create angles for the copy you are working on and send it for approval to our copy chief. Once the angles are approved, it’s time to draft the outlines of the copy for the emails/videos/pages. The outlines will also be sent to the copy chief for approval and once they are approved, it’s time for drafting the actual copy. The final stage is to get your copy approved, tweaked and sent back to the project manager.

The project manager will start building the pages and send out the emails to our audience. In the mean time, you are busy with your next project! 

Once the project is completely done, the project manager will organize a debrief call with the project team to discuss the outcomes, the ways to improve for next time and the learnings we got as a team. 

About you

We’re looking for someone who knows and understands direct response copywriting, and also understands and appreciates the engaging and conversational voice of Mirasee.

To be a good fit for this job, you need to be: 

  • a quick study and have good attention to detail;
  • able to take direction without having to be micro-managed; 
  • able to hit the ground running;
  • eager to take on high-stakes projects and able to work well under pressure with the willingness to go the extra mile and keeping a positive attitude towards challenges;
  • willing to learn from past experiences and consciously strive to do better next time;
  • an excellent communicator in English (both written and verbal);
  • able to do focused work in a dedicated workspace with access to reliable internet and their own computer or laptop;
  • proficient in Google Suite;
  • able to work independently and disciplined; 
  • a team player; 
  • flexible and able to overlap at least 5 hours per day with business hours in the Eastern time zone.
