We are looking for a Front End, React Engineer to join our growing team.

About the Role

You’ll be working on practical solutions to cutting-edge problems. You’ll be involved in building and designing user interface for an analytics AI-ML solution in an AWS infrastructure environment. You’ll work closely with UI/UX team, data scientists and engineers to develop attractive solutions. As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll use best CI/CD practices and impeccably documented code to deliver securely, minimize technical debt and provide continuity in delivery.

About You

You are inquisitive by nature, detail oriented, creative, patient, a results-focused problem solver who enjoys collaboration with your team. You use critical reasoning, are open-minded and enjoy the steps involved when confronted with a complex challenge. You enjoy making an impact and favor projects that result in measurable business outcomes over research-based projects. You have a high standard of accountability and can influence customers by creating effective presentations that communicate complex analytics to non-technical senior management and executives.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Over 4 years developing software products based on AWS cloud architecture
  • More than 2 years deploying production-quality Python applications.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience in DevOps and Terraform.
  • A minimum of 2 years working with AWS ML Ops services like SageMaker, CodeBuild, CloudFormation and Lambda
  • At least 2 years managing distributed environments using containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) as part of the solution
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, particularly frameworks like React.js or similar
  • Experience with ETL and data processing pipelines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be based in and authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

Preferred Additional Skills

  • Sollid understanding of secure Cloud environments, especially AWS GovCloud
  • Experience in highly regulated and secure environments is a plus (e.g., NIT 800-171 or 53, FISMA, DFARS, CMMC)
  • Strong Linux and Windows system administration skills

Location and Telework

This is a remote position. Candidates must be willing to travel to the office, in Arlington, VA, for the occasional team/client meetings. Five percent travel can be expected. Flexibility is expected of the employee to be available for client/team meetings if the employee lives outside the Eastern Time Zone.
