PROJECT INFORMATION:

Location: Kraków, 100% remote

Remuneration: 140 PLN/H net+VAT

Type of assignment: B2B

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Participating in all aspects of the software delivery to users with cooperation with teams’ members.
  • Implementing (coding) of assigned modules/tasks and providing technical solutions/designs to the team.
  • Supporting in issues resolution, employing best practices from maintenance and production support perspective.
  • Liaising with product owners and SMEs to understand business requirements and how they translate into development sprints.
  • Working closely with architecture team to deliver solutions that appropriately address business needs and timelines.
  • Working with different stakeholders from different locations ensuring delivery is at focus.
  • Using Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, RTC, G3, Nexus etc. for artifact management and the code release mechanism.
  • Following Agile & DevOps working methodology and tools (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint etc.)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong Java 8+ knowledge.
  • React JS nice to have.
  • Be able to debug the existing code, extend the functionality and/or fix issues if any.
  • Understanding of micro service architecture and ability to write REST APIs.
  • Be able to write sensible tests to verify functionalities and endpoints
  • Prior hands-on experience around any CI-CD tooling.
  • Always consider implementing Security around functionalities / services / endpoints.
  • Participate in platform improvement initiatives like improvement of performance, production stability.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and proven rapid learning capability.
  • Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, presentation and analytical skills.
  • Good knowledge of database schema design. Knowledge of PostgreSQL will be good to have.
  • Aware of working in DevOps POD and expected to provided production support when needed.
