About the Job: (Position Location: Remote)
We are looking for an Associate Consultant with experience developing Affirmative Action Plans (AAPs) to join our Compliance and Data Solutions group within our Compliance and Workforce Analytics practice area! The ideal Associate Consultant is passionate about supporting initiatives in the equal employment opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action field and helping external clients to navigate OFCCP compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare Affirmative Action Plans that meet client needs.
- Advise clients on affirmative action laws and regulations.
- Conduct statistical analyses to support clients with advanced affirmative action analytics.
- Communicate with clients regularly about project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant statutes, regulations, court cases, directives, and policy initiatives in the EEO and affirmative action field by reading and participating in professional development.
- Conduct training and information sessions on affirmative action laws and regulations and on EEOC and OFCCP reporting requirements.
Required Technical Skills:
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3 years of experience developing Affirmative Action Plans(Bachelor’s level) or 1 year of developing Affirmative Action Plans (Master’s level).
- Working knowledge of federal EEO and affirmative action laws including Executive Order 11246, Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act, VEVRAA, Title VII, the ADA, and the Equal Pay Act.
- Understanding of concepts used in evaluating statistics related to analyses of personnel actions, including standard deviation tests, multiple regression analysis, t-tests, and Fisher’s Exact Test.
- General familiarity with OFCCP audit practices and organizational hiring practices.
- Ability to manipulate data and conduct advanced review of data in Microsoft Excel.
Required General Skills:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong project management experience and ability to work on multiple projects within established timeframes.
- Experience in a fast-paced organization managing multiple clients in a consulting environment.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to learn new computer programs and AAP software.
- Strong skills in data gathering, data analysis, and interpretation of results.
- Ability to present information in multiple formats and in understandable ways to clients and co-workers.
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment as a member of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously.
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Familiarity or working knowledge of HRIS and Applicant Tracking System data files.
- Experience developing affirmative action plans for state and local units of government and other specialty markets.
