Parsons is looking for a driven, team-oriented Summer Intern to support our HR Operations team. You will get hands-on experience working on a variety of HR projects related to Employee Relations/Compliance and Policy Management, Incentive Compensation, and Global Mobility. The successful candidate will be able to manage priorities, be proactive, and communicate with key stakeholders in HR Operations. This is a remote/virtual opportunity, but applicants located in Colorado Springs, CO, Centreville, VA and Huntsville, AL will have the opportunity to participate in our in-person Early Talent Program activities. This Summer Internship will run for 12 weeks, and the position is available immediately. Applicants must be able to commit to the full duration of the Internship program. What You’ll Be Doing: This Internship consists of 3 4-week rotational assignments within the HR Operations Centers of Excellence. Specific project opportunities include but are not limited to the following: Incentive Compensation – Working under the direction of our Senior Manager, Incentives and Compensation Consultants: Participate in testing our on-going projects related to pay for performance (STI), opportunity letters, insider trading information, and SAPL STI and identifying opportunities for process and documentation improvement. ER/Compliance & Policy Management – Working under the direction of the Director, ER/Compliance and Policy Management: Lead the development and enhancement of our HR SharePoint site, with a focus on building out Employee Relations resources tailored for Talent Leaders Participate in the development and delivery of training sessions to educate employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Global Mobility – Working under the direction of the Director, Global Mobility and Sr. Support Specialists: Conduct an audit of our Assignment Agreement repository and support the revamp of our Microsoft Forms Questionnaires inventory. What Required Skills You’ll Bring: Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, specifically pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s. Proficiency in SharePoint site development and customization, with a strong understanding of document management and collaboration features, preferred. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when reviewing and updating documentation and conducting system testing. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
