R&K Solutions, Inc. is seeking a motivated and experienced Information Technology Project Manager to join our Enterprise Product and Solutions team. An ideal candidate will be an expert IT Project Manager with proven experience managing complex software and web applications. Duties:
•Project Planning and Management
o Manages and oversees all aspects of a technology project to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget.
o Responsible for managing scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing, vendors, and contractual deliverables for assigned projects.
o Develops detailed project plans.
o Monitors project milestones and generates periodic status reports.
o Evaluates and manages project risk.
o Incorporates quality measures and standards into project deliverables.
•Stakeholder Interaction
o Interacts with customers and stakeholders to gather and define functional requirements and works closely with development staff to create technical requirements.
o Works effectively with a variety of staff including C-Suite, engineers, planners, information technology and development staff in remote and onsite environments.
o Travels to customer sites as needed.
o Provides presentations, progress reviews, software demonstrations and training to customers.
•Business Development Support
o Supports response to RFIs, RFPs, and other business development opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as Business Information Technology with Decision Support.
•7 years or more of Information Technology Project management experience.
•Experience managing software projects and/or Software as a Service implementations.
•Experience working in all aspects of the software development life cycle from requirements analysis to release management.
•Understanding of Cloud Computing, Software as a Service, Infrastructure as a Service, and web-based architectures.
•Understanding of source control tools and software testing.
•Strong knowledge of technology and capable of learning different technology to meet product, project, and customer needs and business aspects.
•Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
•Excellent problem-solving, adaptability, leadership, and time management skills.
•Capable of producing high-quality technical documents.
•Proficiency with remote work management tools and platforms, ensuring efficient communication and project tracking.
•Strong experience using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Azure DevOps
•Basic understanding of Microsoft Access, SQL relational databases, geospatial technologies such asEsri or OpenLayers.
•US Citizenship
Desired Qualifications:
•Must have the ability to learn functional concepts associated with enterprise asset management, real property, condition assessments, capital planning, space use and other functional areas.
•Experience managing software projects in U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
•Familiarity with security protocols and standards, particularly those relevant to handling sensitive data and ensuring data protection.
•Capable of possessing a U.S. Secret Clearance.
•Ability to create technical requirements.
•Experience managing projects using Microsoft platforms.
•Experience with Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure Cloud Computing Services.
•Understanding of U.S. Federal and state government contracting requirements.
•Project Management Professional or similar certification.
•ITIL 4 FOUNDATION Certification.
