Interface Analyst II – Cloverleaf and Epic Bridges – Digital and Technology Partners – Remote

This position is responsible for acquiring in depth knowledge of system interfaces, working independently in completing project tasks and contributing to the execution of the following tasks as part of clinical and business systems implementation: develop specifications for complex software applications including HL7 interfaces; data conversion; building system components, testing, documentation of specifications; data flows and other project information; implementation support and maintenance of clinical, business, and ancillary and other integrated systems. In addition this position requires the ability to independently interact with clients and guide decision making, analyzing user requirements and translating to system features and functionality, demonstrating critical thinking, testing and debugging skills, and follow through when developing solutions to identified issues.

Responsibilities

  1. Demonstrates the ability to collect workflow and pertinent information from clients
  2. Demonstrate expert knowledge of the system/interfaces and provide guidance to other staff in analyzing issues and the development of potential solutions
  3. Act as a point of escalation for complex multi-system issues
  4. Demonstrate ability to understand not only tasks assigned but to anticipate ongoing work and take ownership of entire process
  5. Develop interface specifications and data flow diagrams
  6. Lead integration and data processes for implementations
  7. Knowledge of the HL7 standard and knowledge of an interface engine such as Cloverleaf
  8. Certification in Epic Bridges as determined by Epic course catalog
  9. Demonstrates professional behavior when interacting with clients and coworkers
  10. Working effectively and negotiating between multiple parties
  11. Performs other related duties

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Three years experience in Information Technology/Computer Science and/or clinical healthcare discipline, or demonstrated equivalent experience
  • Experience in working on medium to large sized systems projects in a technology-driven environment
  • The applicant must have 3 years prior interface development experience, preferably with an interface engine
  • Experience with the Epic Bridges and the Cloverleaf interface engine
  • Certification: HL7 Certification
  • Cloverleaf certified (any level) AND Epic Bridges certified is required
  • Prefer FHIR, API knowledge and experience
