What you will be doing IT Financial Systems Administrators are responsible for maintaining the ongoing reliability, performance, management and support of application platforms and SaaS services. Responsibilities include managing applications and systems, responding to problems and planning for growth. This responsibility may include migration tasks such as change request review, software build coordination, release documentation, production issue resolution and tracking report distribution. Administrators must also understand the business implications of application and system problems allowing them to appropriately set severity levels when problems do occur. Application Administrators monitor the performance of system applications. Individuals execute contingency plans in case of system outages, troubleshoot a wide variety of technical problems and provide Level II support to the Help Desk. In addition, these roles participate in projects to implement new application services and features System Support & Optimization: Serve as a key player in maintaining and enhancing our suite of corporate financial systems (including Tax, Treasury, Audit), with a particular emphasis on Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) functions. Collaboration & Troubleshooting: Collaborate with our team of specialists in Hyperion, Oracle EPM, and finance operations to ensure seamless operations. Address system issues promptly by troubleshooting errors and delivering solutions that meet user needs. Analysis & Documentation: Engage in business systems analysis tasks; gather requirements and produce meticulous documentation for system improvements and new project implementations. Project Management: Participate in multiple projects ranging from moderate to high complexity. Act as both a contributing member and at times as a technical lead, ensuring successful project outcomes. System Health Management: Oversee the health, availability, and performance of applications and platforms. Proactively maintain system stability through regular monitoring and maintenance activities. Release Coordination: Coordinate with production teams to manage schedules for releases, updates, and upgrades across various environments including test, pre-production, and production. Integration Support: Facilitate the smooth integration of changes by working closely with cross-functional teams during various stages of project rollout. What your background should look like Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other closely related fields is required. Alternatively, candidates with equivalent work experience will also be considered. Work Experience: A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in financial systems administration, with a preference for individuals who have worked on Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) processes. Candidates with experience in Oracle EPM will be given high consideration due to its relevance to the role. Additional experience with tax-related functions within financial systems will be advantageous. Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for troubleshooting complex system issues. Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective written and oral interactions across various teams. Proficient organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
